
1. Measure your pet from the base of the neck to the base of the tail as shown in illustration.

If pet has a stout build, thick coat, broader chest, is overweight, or has a wider underside we recommend going up a minimum of one size for proper fit. 3.
Always round up to the next larger size if the measurement is near or over the range maximum in the smaller size. This is particularly true for coats and jackets since there is not stretch in those materials.

If dog is long-backed, like a Dachshund, a smaller size is recommended.
Remember, slightly looser fitting clothing is more comfortable and looks better than clothing that is too tight. If in doubt, order one size larger.
